About the Artist

I’m a painter based in Wichita, creating original landscapes inspired by prairie skies, wetlands, wildflowers, and the quiet beauty of untamed places.
I’m drawn to scenes that invite us to slow down—the movement of tall grass in the wind, light shifting across water, the surprise of color in a field of summer blooms, the feeling of standing beneath an open sky.
My paintings begin with time spent noticing. Sometimes that means walking outdoors, sometimes it means returning to a memory of a place that stayed with me. In the studio, I use layers of oil paint to capture not just how a landscape looked, but how it felt to be there.
I hold a BFA in Art from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh, and painting has remained a steady thread throughout my life.
I believe original art can change the feeling of a home. It can create a pause in the day, offer a sense of calm, and reconnect us with something larger than ourselves.
My hope is that when someone lives with one of my paintings, it continues to give something back over time.
Thank you for visiting my work.
